Big Foot Bike Safety Day

Room 4, learning how to Ride

Yesterday (13/11/17) Room 4 participated in the Big Foot bike safety program. Bikes were provided for the whole class and depending on the skill level of each person we were put into groups of 5 - 6 students. Once in our groups we did some drills and fun games to build our confidence in the saddle, we learnt about signalling on the road and looking back at cars without falling off.
After morning tea we got back on our bikes and my group went out on the local bike paths to learn about the rules of the road. We got back to school late for lunch. After lunch we went for a longer bike along different bike paths over the motorway and through the park. I had lots of fun learning new skills on my bike, comment if you ride a bike.

I really like the structure and the vocab in this presentation. it made me think of the time our school went on a big bike ride. have you thought of using bigger and better words in your further presentations. If you would like to see my blog go to this link http://wscarmelv.blogspot.co.nz/
